Luke showed up looking polished in a nice, casual J-Crew outfit, accompanied with Sperry’s. But what really caught my eye was the nice DPU sweatshirt he was sporting, this shows Luke is school spirited. Go Tigers!
Her Campus: Okay Luke, tell us little bit about yourself?
Campus Cutie: I’m from Lake Forest, Illinois. I am a sophomore majoring in Communications and the culinary arts. I am Italian so I love cooking. I love watching football while baking cakes. I am a proud brother of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. I am a writer for The DePauw. And I am a DJ at WGRE.
HC: Can you give us a fun fact about yourself?
CC: I love to sing in the shower, specifically jamming to Flo Rida. I can attract birds with the sound of my unique whistling ability as well.
HC: So you said you were a DJ for WGRE, what’s your DJ name?
CC: Well I DJ with Jonathan Sirus, and our show, the Jon and Lou show, airs from 12-2 AM on early Monday mornings.
HC: What genre of music do you usually play for your listeners?
CC: Mostly alternative rock, but anything that soothes the listener’s ears.
HC: Alright, so were all dying to know, are you single, taken, or is it complicated?
CC: It’s always complicated. (Said with a smirk on his face).
HC: What do you look for in your dream girl?
CC: I look for a girl that makes me say “wow” whether it’s her smile or ability to cook (possibly better cakes than me). I like when a girl has a genuine personality and a good sense of humor, I like when a girl can make me laugh.
HC: How would you approach that one girl that catches your eye at a party?
CC: I would use cheesy pick-up lines….maybe one like “How much does a polar bear weigh? Enough to break the ice!” To get her to laugh.
HC: What’s the most romantic thing you have done for a girl in the past?
CC: I wouldn’t say this is romantic, but for prom last year, I tricked my date into thinking she was getting suspended from school by asking my dean to call her down to the office. He gave her a slip with her possible “punishments” on it; one of the options being suspension from classes for a week, or to accompany Mr. Luke Bernardi to prom. Then I walked in at that moment with flowers, right before she was going to cry, and got down on one knee, asking her to prom…She obviously said yes.
HC: Where would you take a girl on a date in Greencastle?
CC: I would take her to the cinema and then to an extravagant dinner at Marvin’s.
HC: So Luke, although it’s complicated, do you have a Campus Crush of your own?
CC: I’ll let you know after this interview if any girls bake me a cake, and if that is the case, then I have found my “wow” girl.
