We all spend hours on end exploring all the recipes that Pinterest has to offer us, but why not get up off the couch and actually try one?! You would be amazed at how easy a lot of the meals are to make! What we love about Pinterest recipes is that oftentimes a fellow pinner has come up with a healthy spin on our favorite guilty pleasures! Check out a few of our favorites.

 

1. Creamy Avocado Pasta- This delicious and healthy recipe will make you never want Fettuccini Alfredo again. The avocados blend together to create a thick creamy sauce that is to die for. Oven-Roasted Broccoli Florets- If you’re not a huge fan of broccoli, this will have you singing praise for broccoli.  It takes a bit of time for it to cook, approximately 20 minutes, but it’s well worth it! Just cut up the broccoli, mix it with olive oil, salt and pepper, and place it in the oven on a baking sheet.

8. Roasted Cauliflower and White Cheddar Soup- Cauliflower has got to be one of the most underestimated vegetables.  It’s underestimated for its taste, but also for the amount of ways you can use it as the base for an incredibly healthy meal! Take this soup, for instance.  It probably takes a good 40 minutes to get to the finished product, but it is well worth the wait.  For even more tasty results choose a nicer white cheddar cheese.

9. Chicken with Goat Cheese and Sun-Dried Tomato Sauce- Honestly, who doesn’t love goat cheese? If you happen to be the 1% that doesn’t enjoy goat cheese, then maybe skip this recipe, but you are really missing out. Cook the chicken up and set it aside while you quickly whip up the sauce.  Pour the sauce over the chicken, then as Emeril says, “BAM!”, you’ve got a flavor-packed chicken dish!

Yogurt Covered Blueberries- If you promised yourself that this year you would cut down on the sweets, we 100% support you.  However, we know that everyone has those moments of weakness, so we propose you try these yogurt covered blueberries in your moments of weakness.  All you need is blueberries and honey greek yogurt.
