In my family, egg nog is a holiday specialty. We try all different kinds of egg nog (alcoholic and non-nonalcoholic). Our favorite brand is the Turkey Hill Egg Nog, which we get every year to enjoy as we watch Christmas movies. Over the past few years, my family tried something new. We wanted to start making it ourselves. So we did our research. and tried some recipes. The best ones we found are these two:

Food Network’s Alton Brown’s Egg Nog Recipe: https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/eggnog-recipe2-2013745

This eggnog had a smooth taste similar to the one my family loved. It was soo easy to make, and came out really great for beginners. You are able to customize this to be non-alcoholic. It keeps well in the fridge, so you can keep it in the fridge a week in advanced for a thick and creamy egg nog!

Delish “This Eggnog Will Sleigh Your Holiday Party” Recipe: https://www.delish.com/cooking/recipe-ideas/recipes/a50609/classic-eggnog-recipe/

This recipe took a bit longer to make but the result is just as tasty. We spiked this one fort the adults, but it was so good as a virgin eggnog as well! It was thick, creamy and just the perfect taste for the winter holiday. We sat around and watched Home Alone as we finished our batch of this tasty drink! If you’re looking to try eggnog, this is definitely a good start.
