Saving money has always been a struggle for me. I have always been tired, but I just felt that it was going nowhere. But as a college student I felt that that was the most important time for me to save money. These are the tips I used.

STOP Eating Out.

Even though there are cafeterias on campus I still found myself spending money eating out. All the money used for eating, could have been saved up for something else.

Get a job.

When I got a job, I had more money coming in, so I didn’t have to ask as much. What I learned to do is if I got a paycheck that was over hundred dollars, I would save the hundred and spend what was left throughout the week.

Buy used not new.

When it comes to buying books, always buy used books or even rent the online eBook. You will save so much money.

Sell Books.

When the semester is over the books you used in class, because you will not need them again.

Walk.

Walking to places saves a lot of money compared to constantly calling for Lyfts and Ubers. Plus, walking is a good form of exercise.
