If you have not heard about this case it is the most talked about case in the last couple weeks. A ton of celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Meek Mill, and Rihanna are coming together to free Rodney Reed, a Texas death row inmate. Rodney Reed is sentenced to be executed on November 20th. In 1998 Rodney had been convicted of abduction, rape, and strangling of 19-year-old Stacey Stites. Recently there has been new evidence that points Stites fiancĂ© (a cop) at the time to her murder and not Rodney Reed. The story behind the murder is not totally clear, but it is believed that Rodney Reed was having relations with Stacey Stites, soon her fiancĂ© Jimmy Fennell became outraged and killed her. In 2007 Jimmy Fennell was convicted and serving time for sexual assault while on duty. After watching documentaries and videos I do believe Jimmy killed his fiancĂ© out of rage and as a cop he had access and the brains to plant evidence to connect Reed to the murder.
