Ways to Relieve Stress
- Exercise – Find a way to participate in some form of exercise, whether it be dancing in your room or taking a walk outside. Exercise lowers stress hormones and ultimately will make you feel a little better.
- Hang Out with Friends or Family- Hanging out with people you’re comfortable with will most likely take your mind off what’s causing your stress. You could even talk to your friends about your problem that is causing your stress, and this may help your stress level decrease.
- Avoid Procrastination- Waiting until the last minute to do an assignment is not the look. Waiting to do an assignment until two hours before it is due will put you on a time crunch and increase your stress levels.
- Listen to Music- Listening to music definitely helps me decrease my stress level. Listening to music is proven to lower your heart rate and stress hormones.
