HC: What extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus?
PM: Student Senate (Director of PR & Marketing), Tritons (Intern), Student Interviewer, College Democrats (President), Houses & Apartments Manager, Coordinator for New Student Programs, Devils’ Advocates Student Philanthropy Council, INBM Majors Committee
HC: What are your hobbies?
PM: Traveling, scuba diving and reality television
HC: Who are your role models?
PM: Barack & Michelle Obama, my grandparents and Ruth Bader Ginsburg
HC: In your opinion, what is the best part about Dickinson?
PM: I appreciate that we’ve stayed true to our institutional values. Dickinson was founded with the idea that we could offer a useful education and we still strive to do that to this day. Our model of shared governance has always been unique, and I think we’re a stronger institution because of it.
HC: If you could change something about Dickinson what would it be?
PM: Something that I’m constantly working to change is dining on campus. We have a great dining services operation at Dickinson, but we can always improve. I enjoy taking a student idea or concern and enacting the change they wanted to see. If you have any input you’d like to share, please let me know!
HC: What is something most people wouldn’t know about you?
PM: I don’t drink soda. I drink a lot of tea and water!
HC: What is your ideal job after graduation?
PM: I’d love to find a job that combines my passion for business, politics, the arts and Spanish. I hope to find that dream job by pursuing opportunities in marketing, consulting or higher education.
