9 Stages of (Finally) Having Spring Weather

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Drexel chapter.

Now that the dirt-infused slush from winter’s snowfall has melted and disappeared, it’s time for the sun to come out and bless us with its heated rays so we can take a stroll through the park with our friends! For the past few months, the weather has never been able to make up its mind, giving us ferocious winds and pouring rain. Now that spring is approaching, here are nine stages of having nice weather!

1. You wake up in the morning wondering what kind of weather the day will bring

2. Then check the weather app on your iPhone to find out the temperature and it says 63 degrees

3. You stand in front of your closet debating what to wear

4. Because you want to look cute, yet still dress appropriately for the weather

5. Then you walk outside and feel the heat from the beautiful sunshine radiating on your face

6. You decide to take the long way to class for once just to enjoy a few extra minutes outside

7. Time to hit up your friends for lunch and eat outside for once

8. Finally you go for a post-class run outdoors to get fit instead of going on the treadmill

9. And take a snapchat with the temperature filter

Let’s hope that the days of snowy blizzards and arctic temperatures are gone and cross our fingers for more beautiful spring days at Drexel!
