What is your favorite part about Drexel?Windowless spaces. I rep the fifth floor of MacAlister and the Drexel Writing Center super, super hard.

What do you want to do after you graduate? After graduation I’m moving down to Atlanta to pursue graduate study in English at Georgia State University. My ultimate goal is to teach English at the university level someday (and subsequently have an excuse to wear an inordinate amount of tweed).

What are your hobbies?I’m a runner and triathlete so my hobbies include, obviously, swimming, biking, and running (not in preferential order). Aside from that, I love reading and writing, spending an inordinate amount of time outside and hanging out with my friends.

What’s your favorite place on eat on campus? This might sound weird, but 100% hands-down Vegetate. I work (and live, essentially) in MacAlister hall, and it’s right next door. Beyond that they always have a soundtrack that is especially conducive to emotional breakdowns as well as LaColombe coffee. What’s not to love?

What is you go-to study spot?OCF Coffeehouse in Fairmount Park. I lived right by the bridge last summer and I spent so much of my summer writing in that coffee shop. It’s far enough away from campus that I don’t really run into anyone, their coffee is impeccable, and I’m super productive next to those warehouse windows.

What’s your spirit animal?I had my friends answer this one for me, and they said Mongolian Death Worm. Or a hippogriff. I’m not certain about the veracity of these claims.

What’s your favorite Disney movie?Schindler’s List. Just kidding, The Lion King is an absolute favorite, and hakuna matata is some of the best life advice I’ve ever received.

What is your best pick-up line?“Do you know why you’re here?” Just kidding. “How much does a polar bear weigh? Enough to break the ice. I’m Jen.”
