What are your hobbies and interests? Being from Sint Maarten, I grew up surrounded by water, so I absolutely love swimming. Since I like to stay active, I also enjoy running and playing soccer. A couple of my other interests are meeting new people and exploring, which I’ve gotten to do a lot of since coming to the city. Beyond that, one of my biggest passions is music. I listen to it all the time, and have even started some DJ’ing on the side.

Are you involved in any student organizations? Alpha Kappa Psi and DISHA

What is your favorite part about Drexel? I love the structure of the school. Being on my first co-op, I have a taste of what the ‘real world’ will be like and on top of that, it has given me a great deal of insight about what I truly want to do with my life. Drexel is very fast paced and thus pushes me to do a lot. My favorite part however, is the friends that I’ve made here while in Philadelphia and at Drexel.

Why did you choose Drexel? Similar to most people, I chose Drexel primarily because of the co-op program, but I also felt as though the school stood out amongst others. Being an international student, I wasn’t well informed on the numerous schools in America, but after being accepted to Drexel and visiting, I felt like this would definitely be the best place for me.

What has been the best moment you have had here? The best moment I have had here would be joining Alpha Kappa Psi. It started as a simple suggestion from my roommate and has since turned into one of the biggest things in my life. My experiences with AKPsi have been unbelievable and I’ve grown so much over the last year. I truly wouldn’t be where I am without my brothers.

What do you want to do after you graduate? After I graduate, I want to move to New York City pursuing a career in Investment Banking (Finance); however, I also enjoy DJ’ing, so I would love to have that take me places in the future, as well.
