Fluffy, charismatic, affectionate — my hair is fluffy and I don’t hate it, I always have something to say, and I am never afraid to show my emotions.
What’s your favorite feature about yourself?
I am extremely lighthearted; I can always laugh at myself. Yes, I laugh at my own jokes and I am usually always smiling.
What advice would you give to young girls?
Look for love within before looking elsewhere. Depend on yourself rather than others, and look for support when you need it. Love yourself, I promise it is important.
How do you define “beautiful”?
Natural is beautiful. Caking on makeup, designer clothes, and flashy jewelry could never out sparkle your natural glow. Everyone has their own natural beauty, enhance it, don’t try to hide it.
Who was the best female role model for you when growing up and why?
My mother is the strongest woman I know. She has showed me how to love what you do, the importance of being happy, and how to laugh even on the hardest days.
What’s the best thing about being a woman in your opinion?
Being underestimated. I actually love when people underestimate what I can do, gives me a chance to work hard and prove them wrong.
What’s one stereotype about females that you want to counteract?
Women are weaker than men. Women physically can be strong, build muscles, and totally kick guys butts. So, please move over and let us use the squat rack.
Why do you #LoveYourself?
I love myself because no one else will. How can I expect anyone else to love me if I don’t love me!? I laugh at my own jokes, I know where I have been, and I know where I want to go in life. I may not love everything about myself, yeah so what if I have big feet?! Embrace your imperfections, remind yourself why you rock, and approach life with a smile.
