Monday Jan 7: Polar Palooza w/ DUPB

DUPB has a multitude of fun activities planned including food trucks, plaque painting, candy buffets, cookie decorating, and hot cocoa and cider. Polar Palooza is only the precursor for DUPB’s legendary other winter activity, Winter Carnival, February 4th-10th.

Thursday Jan 10: Explore Denver presents Nuggets vs. Clippers
Time: 7:00 PM
Place: The Pepsi Center
Explore Denver’s free & discounted ticket series! It’s kicking off with a Nuggets vs. Clippers game! 100 free tickets will start being distributed at Wednesday’s Involvement Expo, just bring your student ID and excitement! Tickets will also include a $10 voucher for concession snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Music to every college students’ ear!
Friday Afternoon Jan 11: Collegiate Recovery Community Grand Opening Celebration

Place: Collegiate Recovery Community (1931 S York St)
The Health and Counseling Center is opening the Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC)!
This new program will offer a community lounge, substance free social events, support meetings, peer mentoring, and educational seminars. According to the CRC website, “The CRC is a supportive environment within campus culture that reinforces the decision to pursue sobriety. It is designed to provide academic excellence alongside recovery support to ensure that students do not have to sacrifice one for the other.” Come celebrate this awesome new program at their grand opening!
