Although its getting cold, we don’t have to say goodbye to the summery drinks we love! Enjoy these 3 smoothies made with fall twists. Blend the ingredients in the recipe together until smooth, add ice and enjoy autumn!
1. Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie
- ½ cup canned pumpkin
- 1 cup almond milk
- 2 frozen bananas
- 2 dates
- 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (optional)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Sprinkle of nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and ginger
2. Apple Pie Smoothie
- 1 apple, chopped, or 1 cup unsweetened organic applesauce (depending on whether you have a high-speed blender)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond, rice, or coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon natural vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Very thin slice of fresh ginger (the equivalent of a “pinch”)

- 1/4 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1/4 cup rolled or quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup ice cubes
- ½ tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoons almond butter
- ½ teaspoon finely grated fresh ginger
- Pinch of ground cinnamon, plus more for garnish
