Shopping is one of America’s favorite pastimes. With another Black Friday come and gone, you’ve probably seen the extent of American consumerism and, if you’re lucky, walked home with a few door-buster deals yourself. After scouring the mall a couple times over, I know I exhausted all my go-to stores. Not to worry – shopping season never ends! Even if you think you’ve seen it all this holiday season, there’s always more. I turned toward overseas fashion to compile the best international online clothing stores for you to continue your bargain-hunting (or window-shopping, if you’ve exhausted your wallet, too).
1. Xenia (Brisbane, Australia) – This Australia-based clothing shop has some of the most fashion-forward pieces at affordable prices. My favorites are their dresses with unique cut-outs on the back, like the Heart Cut-Out 2.0 Dress:
Be warned – you can easily lose track of time browsing this site’s wide collection of adorable clothing and accessories. Head into the sale section and you’ll most likely discover an array of fashionable dresses for $30. If you’re not careful, you might just fall in love.
2. Topshop (London, UK) – This fashion phenomenon started in London and has spread like wildfire throughout the world. The company actually operates three stores in the US: in New York City, Chicago, and Las Vegas. The one in New York is four stories and has a 10/10 rating on foursquare. Clearly, this store is shopping heaven. Can’t access any of these locations? No problem – Topshop is also available online both to UK and worldwide customers. With their seemingly endless collection of fashionable pieces, it’s hard to play favorites – but I’m partial to their knitted sweaters, which you can find in all styles from basic staples to crazy patterns. Where else can you get tigers knitted into your cardigan!?
3. Hifashion (Taupo, New Zealand) – If you’re looking for clothes that are fashionable but not too avant-garde, look no further than Hifashion. Based in New Zealand, the online version brings you the cream of the crop in New Zealand fashion designers. My personal favorite is Minty Meets Munt – the color schemes and prints of the pieces just work, and the style is college-appropriate. Here’s the Minty Meets Munt Sphinx Dress:
4. Mustard (Bangalore, India) – Where Indian fashion and online shopping collide, a beautiful product is born – exotic Indian garments available from the comfort of your home. Mustard Clothing ships anywhere overseas and offers both traditional Indian and Western garb. But the real winner is their fusion of Indian style and Western comfort as seen in this pretty blue blouse:
5. Susie Kim (Seoul, South Korea) – If you’ve always adored the femininity and crazy edge of Asian fashion, you might like Susie Kim, a Korean online clothing store. It offers cute K-Pop-inspired apparel (and even K-Pop albums!) deliverable around the world. I’m a fan of this leather-textured mini skirt!
All of these stores have at least two things in common – fashion-forward pieces that’ll make your closet happy and sales that’ll make you happy. When shopping online from international stores, shipping costs can give you a hassle, so reasonable price tags sweeten the deal. Look out for special sales, discount coupons, and free shipping specials (especially around holiday seasons). Why wait for next Black Friday to treat yourself again? There is, quite literally, a whole world of fashion waiting for you!
