Zoboomafoooooo! Most people are familiar with this popular TV show that starred two brothers (one of whom went to Duke) and an adorable lemur by the name of Zoboo. And a cool fact about the show is that part of it was actually filmed at the Duke Lemur Center where the real Zoboo is from!
Lemurs live on the island of Madagascar where there is a large variety of different species. The Duke Lemur center is the largest sanctuary outside of Madagascar for lemurs and other s, like the slow loris. The Lemur Center houses around 250 animals and offers great tours for the public all year long!
