This week I headed to Newcastle to visit the popular International Christmas Market – and I just had to tell you all about it!
An incredible range of European food – from Greek wraps to Dutch pancakes, it’s so difficult to make a choice – and decide what to eat! I eventually settled upon a hog roast bap which was absolutely delicious, and then had some pancakes for dessert, smothered in chocolate sauce – just too good!
It was a really lovely atmosphere, Christmas lights, music, and the smells whilst walking around were just incredible. There’s a noodle bar next to a stall selling churros, for example! Everything looked just so tasty!
Alongside the food and drink, there’s lots of stalls selling jewellery, hats and scarves and Christmassy gifts! It’s perfect for finding something cute and a little different.
It’s running until the 11th December so hop on the train (£4.80 with a railcard!) and have a little walk around! I can assure you that there is something there for everyone (definitely if you are a foodie like me!)
This is one of my last articles before Christmas so I’d like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year! HCXO
