Between classes, clubs, and homework, we all know it can be hard to find any down time during the school year. That’s why it’s important to remember that everyone needs some R&R, doing whatever it is that relaxes you. And if any collegiettes out there are like me, that means watching movies! While schoolwork is of the utmost importance, it is also important to not be overwhelmed. Here is a line-up of some highly anticipated movies coming out in the next couple of months. Keep them in mind when you need a vehicle out of your dorm room during midterms, transporting you to a different world for 120 minutes.

This futuristic drama starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Yes, I just heard you all sigh) and Bruce Willis, follows Joe (Gordon-Levitt) as a hit man for the mob. The interesting thing about this mob is that instead of having someone killed on the spot, they send their men to the past to kill people off. Joe learns quickly that no one is safe, as he is assigned to go back in time and kill himself.

This Sci-Fi-ish drama explores why we make the choices that we do as human beings, and how that effects the past, present and future of us all. From the deep jungle to an open ocean to a future city, we watch a revolution unfold across centuries. Tom Hanks and Halle Barry star as the main romantic interest, better than your average man meets woman and falls in love. They keep meeting, in all forms of time, and continuously fall in love. The real kicker from me was that it is from the makers of the Matrix Triology, the Wachowski Brothers.
Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2
Relsease Date: November 16

Twilight had to be on the list. The dividing line between loving and hating Twilight is very strong, and although I am somewhat in the middle, I must say that I am excited to see how this saga ends. Kristen Stewart, Rob Pat and Taylor Lautner are back for the epic vampire battle between the Volturi and the Cullen clan. Bella is now a badass vampire and baby Renesmee is the center of attention, especially in the eyes of Jacob. Even if the movie isn’t the best, at least we get to see Jacob shirtless again, right?
