We’re almost at the end of the semester, which means Pub Club’s semesterly book launch is right around the corner! Past Pub Club/Wilde Press authors Genna Coleman and Julio Cesar Villegas have just been nominated for EVVY Awards this semester, and with this in mind we’re more than excited to read what this semester’s debut authors are publishing!
This semester, Pub Club is publishing Here, There, & Everywhere by Rebekah Scarborough, a collection of nonfiction essays, and Bird Folk by Antonio Weathers, a collection of poems. Proceeds from Rebekah’s book will go to 826 Boston and proceeds from Antonio’s book will go to Boston Scores. Books will be $8, and you can pay with venmo or cash!
This semester’s book launch is taking place on April 18th from 7PM to 9PM at the Bill Bordy Theater. At the book launch there will be food and drinks, readings by the authors, a Q&A with the authors, and the authors will be signing their books! Be sure to also grab free copies of this semester’s issue of Generic Magazine, Emerson’s only genre-fiction exclusive magazine!
