The shortest month of the year and the âloneliestâ month for singles (which is most peopleâs relationship status btw) is the PERFECT time to prioritize self-care purchases and excursions! Why? Your budget may not survive a longer month and youâll realize how awesome it is to be pampered. Here are five ways to get started:
1.)Â Go out on the town- in the day. Not all perfect days happen under the moonlight. Venture out for a nice massage, nail appointment, hair blowout, or facial.
2.) Letâs get physical. Spend that $30 on that barre, aerial yoga, trampoline, or rock climbing class. These give you energy surges that boost your endorphin level. So basically, fun + sweat = more fun. Â
3.) Allow yourself to splurge on something you can use everyday (slippers, perfume, a quality face moisturizer, or leggings). Â
4.) Get yourself in the spirit with fresh flowers- yes, buy them for yourself. Â
5.) If you have ANY money left over by now, then go ahead and taste your way to heaven with an assorted box of macaroons (or cake, or chocolate, or ice cream). Â
This time is like your birthday month without the âthank youâ cards. You deserve this!
