5 Reasons You Should Be Using Poshmark

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emmanuel chapter.

If you haven’t heard of Poshmark before, here are 5 reasons why you should get on your phone, download the app, and start using it right now!

1. You can make easy money

Are you a poor college student? Do you need a quick way to make cash? Do you have some old clothes lying around? Well, here you go! You can sell your old wardrobe, make a few bucks, and even get yourself a new wardrobe while you’re at it!

2. You can save on expensive brands

Lulu Lemon, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Free People, and countless other brands. You name it, Poshmark has it! Don’t want to spend $150 on a pair of workout leggings? That’s okay, you can get the same leggings on Poshmark for half the price! Don’t worry about them being previously used either, because you can adjust the settings within the app to display only unused items to you. Most things are only lightly used anyways.

3. Are you crafty? You can sell your own work!

Whether it be artwork or custom t-shirts, if you can make it, then you can sell it!

4. It’s easy!

All you have to do is download the Poshmark app, log in with an email or facebook account, and you’re ready to buy or sell!

5. Your money can be spent the way you want it.

You can choose to keep your earnings and use them for other items on Poshmark, or you can have the money transferred directly into your bank account. You can choose new clothes or some extra cash, either way it’s a win win!

I use Poshmark all the time, and I can’t even begin to tell you how much money I’ve saved on the expensive brands that I love! Not to mention the amount of money I’ve earned on clothing I never wear anymore, which is equally as great! It’s easy, convenient, and fun! Check it out!
