Giving Tuesday. What is it? Giving Tuesday is a global giving movement. This year, November 28th will be the day devoted to giving back. As it is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, it fits right in with the season of giving. Celebrating this day is a great way to get involved in your community, and various organizations and charities could use your help.
Giving Tuesday is also the time that you can show why you are grateful for Emmanuel College. Whether you are a current student, Alumni, faculty, or staff, there is so much to be thankful for as a member of the EC community. Making a gift to the Emmanuel Fund, no matter how big or small, helps enhances student life.
Especially for seniors, this day is a great opportunity to help leave a lasting impact on Emmanuel by giving. From 10am-3pm, the Senior Class Gift Committee will be tabling in the Jean Yawkey Center to collect donations. Donations from members of the senior class will go directly to the Senior Class Gift. The class of 2018 is working to raise funds specifically for financial aid, which is something that a vast majority of students rely on. By donating, you can help future students have the opportunity to experience all that Emmanuel has to offer.
Can’t make it to the JYC? Other ways to donate are by going to https://alumni.emmanuel.edu/give/GivingTuesday or by contacting seniorclassgift@emmanuel.edu
Be a Saint, and don’t forget to give on November 28th!
