You may have seen him wandering around campus with a giant trident, or dashing around dressed to the nines on his way to WGBH. When it comes to seniors, Cam Sullivan is one of our favorites, and will definitely be one of our hardest goodbyes. For those of you who don’t know him, nows the time to get to! Here’s everything you need to know about the “og” campus cutie!
Full Name: Cameron West Sullivan
Major: English Communications
Favorite Course: Editing & Publishing Literary Magazines
Favorite Ice Cream: Coffee Heath Bar
Favorite Extra Curricular: Theatre and D&D
Her Campus Emmanuel: Hi Cam! Thank you so much for finding the time to hang out and answer a whole bunch of fun and exciting questions!
Cam Sullivan: Of course!
HCE: Alrighty, so first question, how are you feeling right now? We’re a day away from Easter Break, and when we come back next week we’ll have three weeks left in the semester! How crazy is that?
CS: A little too crazy for my taste, but it’s certainly exciting. I’m feeling a little stressed with work loads and making sure everything is all set for finals and graduation, but I’m enjoying every second of it.
HCE: Are you looking forward to Senior Week? What are some of the crazy festivities they have planned for you guys?
CS: Definitely! I know we have commencement ball and a BBQ with some of the faculty which both sound really exciting. What I’m looking forward to the most is likely the cruise around Boston Harbor, I love sailing and the ocean.
HCE: Do you have any plans lined up for after school?
CS: As of right now, I’m going to Germany with my family as a graduation present for a week. After that I’m likely going to be working on Martha’s Vineyard before I settle into a more permanent job.
HCE: Who do you feel has helped you most when it comes to planning ahead for the future? Who was your biggest influence?
CS: My parents, definitely. My dad always keeps me going to find something I really love to do for a career, and my mom always helps to make sure I do my best. Together they have really inspired me to chase after what I want.
HCE: What has been your favorite part of studying here at Emmanuel?
CS: The great faculty and how close they are with the students. It feels so great to get to know your professors and develop a professional yet friendly relationship.
HCE: What are some of your greatest accomplishments?
CS: I don’t have much to claim I’ve accomplished, but I do feel very proud of my events internship at WGBH. I feel like I’m givin back to the community with helping with the local events put on there.
HCE: What are you going to miss most about being here at EC?
CS: The closeness of it all. Being close with professors, being close with my friends, and being so close to everything Boston has to offer. This whole community has become such a huge part of my life, I’m gonna miss it all.
HCE: If there’s any advice you have for younger students in your major?
CS: Be diverse. The communications field is so huge and offers so much that there is undoubtedly something to find that you will love. Same thing can be said for any other major. Never be afraid to take the jump to start something new.
The ladies here at Her Campus Emmanuel have loved having you as part of our team (Honorary exec board) Cam, and we’re going to miss you beyond belief next year! Thank you for always being our biggest fan. Good luck!
