Meet ECHabitat for Humanity team member Katy Mulvaney!
Facilities Coordinator
Her Campus at Emmanuel:Â What are you most looking forward to on the spring break trip?
Katy Mulvaney: Getting to know the students better and sharing this experience with them
HCE: What does it mean to you to know that you are making a difference in someone’s life?
KM: When I’m in a bad place mentally, helping others can cure that. It reminds me to be grateful for what I have, so I get more out of this experience than what I give. It’s a great feeling.
HCE: What is your favorite thing to do (or what you hope to do) on the build?
KM:Â I want to use a power tool.
HCE: Favorite memory with EC Habitat?
KM: The whole trip was so wonderful. My favorite part was our bonfire at a campground in the middle of nowhere at night. The stars were unbelievable.
HCE: What is a mantra or quote that you live by?
KM:Â Sometimes the only available transportation is a leap of faith.
