Meet ECHabitat for Humanity team member Krysta Marinelli!
Class Year: 2016
Major: Counseling and Health Psychology
Her Campus at Emmanuel: What made you choose to join EC Habitat?
Krysta Marinelli:Â I wanted one last adventure during my time at EC and to do more hands on service.
HCE: What are you most looking forward to on the spring break trip?
KM:Â I am most looking forward to seeing Colorado and learning some new build skills.
HCE: What does it mean to you to know that you are making a difference in someone’s life?
KM: It means everything that I’m able to give my spring break to help someone get into a home. Service has been a huge part of my time at EC and I think this is the greatest way to give back.
HCE: What is your favorite thing to do (or what you hope to do) on the build?
KM: Last year I went on ASB NOLA and I loved demo-ing the house… this year I’m just excited to build instead of tear down.
HCE: Favorite memory with EC Habitat?
KM:Â Meeting new people, faculty and staff included
HCE: What is a mantra or quote that you live by?
KM: “I will not walk backward in life” – J.R.R. Tolkien
