When your college decides to bring The Chainsmokers to campus for Dooley’s Week, you know something interesting is about to happen! If you attended their amazing concert like I did, you can probably relate to these stages of the emotional roller coaster ride that was my Chainsmokers concert experience.
1.Ā Waiting in line, pretending to not be annoyed when people budge in front of you.
2.Ā Feeling super excited about finally getting into the concert.
3.Ā Looking around at the crowd and feeling ridiculously overwhelmed.
4. Getting pushed. A lot.
5. Trying to avoid some random girl who’s vomiting…
6. Trying your very best not to throw up yourself as a drunken couple dry humps on your back.
7. Freaking out when The Chainsmokers actually start to play.
8. Starting to get really fed up with being pushed.
9. Finally pushing back yourself.
10. Deciding to let it go and just enjoy the music.
11. Feeling half-disappointed and half-ecstatic when the concert is finally over.
Getting to hear the Chainsmokers live was such an amazing experience and, no matter what the concert put me through, I can’t wait for next year’s performance!
