What has been your greatest memory at Emory?
It’s difficult to choose just one given all of the incredible experiences I’ve had here, but being on the homecoming court and winning Spirit of Emory was such a special moment that I will carry with me forever. I was so excited to represent the class of 2018 and am looking forward to coming back to campus for homecoming in future years!
How has your experience been with working with Res Life?
Absolutely amazing! Res Life at Emory is truly a family of selfless and inspiring individuals who push each other to grow every day. It has given me so many opportunities to mentor others and give back to the Emory community. I’m very thankful for my SAs and RA who encouraged me to get involved!
I heard you just got promoted to RHD? What does that role entail? Are you excited?
The RHD position has been a great learning experience thus far! I’m very excited and thankful to be in this position and can’t wait to see what our staff accomplishes this semester. I primarily supervise a staff of 9 Resident Advisors and 4 Sophomore Advisors. Additionally, I serve as the main point of contact for Harris residents and campus life professionals, manage the programming budget and all building operations.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully I will be back in the university setting pursuing a graduate degree in industrial-organizational psychology.
What advice would you give your younger self?
Embrace your individuality and your quirks!
