Each year, Emory fraternity Sigma Chi’s philanthropy week culminates in a huge party, and this year is no different. Meet Paris & Simo from Montreal who will be headlining this year’s Monster Energy Outbreak College Tour presented by Campus DJ and Sigma Chi Derby Days. If you went last year, I’m sure you had fun (I know I did) and you don’t want to miss it this year either. Proceeds from ticket sales ($15 each) go to The Children’s Miracle Network, so make sure you go out and support their cause and dance the night away to the sounds of Paris & Simo!!
Her Campus Emory (HCE): How did you guys get started in music?
Paris and Simo (P&S): We grew up listening to many genres of music! Â Daft Punk had the greatest impact on both of us… it’s impossible not to dance while listening to their past works.
Â
HCE: What is one sentence to describe your sound?
P&S: Melodies!Â
Â
HCE: What thoughts go into choosing a set?
P&S: It all depends on the environment. Our festival set may vary from a club set, although it may be similar. We try to read the crowd and adjust!
Â
HCE: How excited are you guys to play at Emory?
P&S: We love Atlanta! We’re excited to see how it goes down since it’s our first time at Emory! See you there :)Â
