This week’s cutie, originally from the Caucasus Mountains of Russia, is a die-hard Yeezus fan, and aspires to be a trauma surgeon so he can one day save 50 Cent from future gunshot wounds.
Hometown: Little Rock, Arkansas
Year: Sophomore
Major: NBB
Extracurriculars: Emory EMS, Outdoor Emory, Club Library, Kanye West Fan Club
Her Campus Emory (HCE): What’s your biggest weakness?
Sam (S): Today a friend came up to me and said, “You look disinterested in everything, but I love it.” My neutral facial expression is my greatest weakness. I don’t mean to make kittens cry.
HCE: Where do you see yourself in the next decade?
S: I want to be a trauma surgeon.
HCE: Do you have your eyes set on anyone?
S: Nats Port (Natalie Portman) and Scar Jo (Scarlett Johansson), but I’m actually really really single.
HCE: In your opinion, what’s one thing that sets a woman apart from others?
S: Being pleasantly spontaneous (serendipitous?). There’s nothing better in the world than surprise filet mignon served on a tiki torch-lit beach, mariachi doing a rendition of Marvin Gaye’s 13th album, with a dolphin show directed by Christopher Nolan.
HCE: What’s your best physical trait?
S: My tragus. I can’t handle the amount of compliments I get.
HCE: What’s the greatest compliment someone of the opposite sex can give you?
S: Calling me the spirit child of Kanye West and Natalie Portman. Second place goes to not complimenting me, but just laughing together. I enjoy sharing moments, not making things necessarily one-sided.
HCE: What’s a skill you have that nobody else knows about?
S: I can play “Never Have I Ever” really well.
