Ever since joining the meat-free clique three years ago, I’ve left Thanksgiving meals either starved or nauseated from eating too many vegetables. Requesting a different dish seems irritating. Â And sitting at the table while everyone drools over the turkey is like when my non-Jewish friends countdown to Christmas. Â How can not I feel left out of the holiday I’m celebrating? This year, things need to change.Â
