Women’s History Month is coming to a close. Hopefully, you took the past month to honor and celebrate women contributions to history, culture, and society. As a way to commemorate the end of Women’s History Women, I decided to create a list of some of my absolute favorite films that put women front and center. If you haven’t watched any of these yet, I recommend you do before the month is over!
1. Little Women (2019)
2. Matilda (1996)
3. Mona Lisa Smile (2003)
4. Battle of the Sexes (2017)
5. Hidden Figures (2016)
6. Enola Holmes (2020)
7. The Hate U Give (2018)
8. Queen of Katwe (2016)
