Valentine’s Day has just been known as celebrating just for lovers or soulmates. But what Valentine’s day means to me is spending time with people that make you feel at home and content. Valentine’s Day is not only for boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands or wives. There’s a misconception of being lonely on Valentine’s day. In reality you are not alone. You have more people in your life than you know. So In honor of Valentine’s Day I want to appreciate what is most important in my life so I thought I would appreciate and acknowledge all the qualities I love about my family.Â
Â
- My Dad
-
My dad is one of the smartest, hard working, resilient, loving people I have ever met. When he wants something he grabs the bull by the horns and gets it. Did I mention he is very funny and outgoing? He’s definitely a character out of a sitcom. If there’s any event to support his family he will be right there. My dad is a fighter and he will fight for his family. We love watching Jeopardy and The Bachelor together. My dad is very passionate about his work. He is an engineer for a defense and aerospace company, and he loves to golf, and is up for any physical activity. I love you Dad even though your dance moves are okay and you drive me crazy. I love youÂ

- My Mother
-
My mother is one of the most selfless and caring people I know. She always provides love for her children and family. I am so proud of my mom. She has been working hard on her school work and cooking delicious dinners. You take such good care of our family and of course my dog Blu taking him on daily walks. You are one of my biggest support systems. You have helped me and shaped the woman I am today. Go thank your mother today and give her a big hug. I love you mom .Â

- My Sister Catherine
-
My older sister Catherine or as like to call her “ Cathy” (she hates being called that). She is a junior BFA theater major at Penn State. She is an amazing actress and she’s been in a lot of plays. She has been mostly dramatic plays, but she does have a great sense of humor. I miss her so much since she’s all the way in Pennsylvania living her college life to the fullest. I know it’s hard considering the circumstances right now being in quarantine. We have had so many great memories throughout the years. My sister is one of the bravest and caring people I know. She has immaculate music taste and a great sense of fashion. My sister is my role model and my hero.
- My GrandmaÂ
-
My grandma has always been sure of who she is and where she is from. I love her so much and I miss seeing her. I hope to see her soon. She has mastered the skill of knitting. She even made me a blanket and it has hearts on it. The blanket is so cute and colorful. My grandma is so funny and sophisticated. My grandma gave my first nickname “Chip”. Everyone in my family or town knows me as “Chip”. My grandma is one of the most generous humans I know. I love you Grandma. I hope you’re doing well.Â
