Tell me a little about yourself and why you chose to come to Endicott?
I actually transferred to Endicott in the middle of my freshman year from Quinnipiac University. I had chosen Quinnipiac for all the wrong reasons, mainly because of an unhealthy, toxic, and (frankly) abusive relationship. When I was looking to transfer, I chose Endicott for a few reasons. First and foremost was for the programs. When I was 16, I worked at a summer camp for children with âemotional, behavioral, and learning difficultiesâ, a lot of whom were on the Autism Spectrum. Ever since that experience, I knew I wanted to devote my career to working with this population. Endicott is one of the only schools that has undergraduate courses in ABA AND has an accelerated masterâs degree in ABA. So, basically, perfect for me.
Another two reasons I chose Endicott was for the location and size. I always knew I didnât want to go to a huge university, but after my experience at Quinnipiac (a medium sized school) I knew I needed to go smaller. I had gone to a small, private high school and I loved that I knew all my teachers personally and that they all knew me. I loved being able to have a relationship with them, and didnât want to be just another numbered face in a lecture hall. Endicott has given me that relationship with all my professors with its small class sizes and its compassionate faculty. Then there is the location. I mean, who DOESNâT want to go to a school with its own three private beaches while also being a 20-minute train ride away from the city?
Do you have any plans for your future?
After I graduate it May, I plan on beginning my masterâs degree here at Endicottâs Van Loan School. I will begin working towards an M. Ed. in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis about 10 days after graduation. After that, I hope to be working in a clinic-based setting working as a BCBA.
Whatâs something unique about you?
I can make lots of different Italian foods, like pastas and sauces, from scratch. Also, Iâve been told I have a really weird burp.
Are you involved or a part of any on campus groups or clubs?
I am involved with a lot on campus. This semester, I am a member of Endicottâs Education Club, Autism Awareness Organization, Endicott Singers, and Endicott Drama Club.

âBlackbird singing in the dead of night, take these broken wings and learn to fly. All your life, you were only waiting for this moment to ariseâ âThe Beatles, Blackbird
