With 15 nights at Madison Square Garden coming to an end, there has only been one thing on my mind, and it’s not our late night talking. It’s the unreleased song “Medicine”.
Throughout the 15 sold out nights at MSG, Harry played Medicine 6 times. Making it a total of 16 times in 2022 alone. Don’t get me wrong, when he played “Medicine” at my show I was basically on the floor unconscious. But I think there are a lot more unreleased songs or covers that could be incredible if he played them live more often.
“Anna” for example. One of the best songs of all time. But unfortunately, he stopped playing that song when Live on Tour ended. I think “Anna” would’ve been an incredible song to play along with the rest of Harry’s House.
Continuing with the Harrys House vibe, we have “Grapejuice”. Harry deciding to play “Grapejuice” at only 2 of his shows was one his biggest mistakes of all time. I understand that it’s a hard song to sing, which he acknowledged to a fan in the crowd at Austin night 3, but at least perform it more than twice!
Some more songs and covers that I think would’ve been incredible to hear live again are “Girl Crush”, “Toxic”, “The Chain”, and “Big Yellow Taxi”. I understand that most of these songs were performed prior to the Fine Line era and more in the HS1 era when he didn’t have many other songs, but they were just so incredible to hear then, imagine if he played them now! His voice has evolved and grown so much since 2018, it would be so incredible to hear them performed again.
Then again, I think if he played anything out of his normal setlist, most of the arena would be on the floor, passed out in shock. So maybe it’s best if he just sticks to what he knows for the sake of the fans’ health.
