Am I the only one who has a variety of makeup products sitting in online shopping carts? You know, those items that are only one step away from being purchased and shipped to your home; in other words, your makeup wishlist. I know for sure that I have my few products itching to be purchased. Here is a list of different makeup products I desire (or already own) that in my opinion, are worth the hype they receive.

Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush

If you are on the app TikTok, it is likely you have seen a beauty guru reviewing this beloved product. I am always apprehensive about trying liquid blushes, as I have found them to become patchy when blended out or lacking pigment. However, this liquid blush was claimed to be the perfect long-lasting blush that blends and builds beautifully for a soft, healthy flush. This product had been sitting in my cart for weeks, and technically still is. It was not until I was visiting my local Sephora to purchase a refill for my moisturizer that I physically stumbled upon the blush. Possessing this product was pure coincidence! Though I was only at Sephora for the one item, I could not help but notice one final box of the blush left on the shelf. My impulsive hands quickly grabbed the product, and I could not possibly be more grateful. This blush lives up to its reputation in the most flawless way possible. The packaging is sleek, modern, and quite beautiful, and the blush itself is a dream. With its big doe foot applicator, the wand is quite easy to use, and the blush is made up of a simple-to-blend formula. If you are looking for the most pigmented, yet smoothest blush on the market, buy Selena’s Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush!

Drunk Elephant O-Bloos Rosi Drops

For a while, Charlotte Tilbury’s Beauty Light Wand was on my wishlist. The product was quickly replaced when I learned of the O-Bloos Rosi Drops by Drunk Elephant. This product is slightly more affordable and contains much more product than that of Charlotte Tilbury (a difference of 0.6 ounces!). The Rosi Drops, once applied to the skin, have a shimmering, peachy-pink tint. Not only is the blush beautiful, but the formula also contains skin-care ingredients like marula oil and vitamin F for dewy, healthy skin. If the product looks beautiful AND combats skin issues, count me in! The texture is also very lightweight, so it feels like there is nothing on the skin. I would like to call myself a blush enthusiast, and this product appears to be the next makeup item I need in my life.

Kosas Revealer Concealer

I have been using the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer over the past year, and absolutely love the way the product wears on my skin, as it has high coverage but a natural finish. However, I have heard a tremendous number of great reviews for the Kosas Revealer Concealer. Supposedly, this concealer has a smooth and creamy texture, similar to that of NARS, and has the ability to hide dark spots, melt seamlessly into the skin, and transform uneven texture. With claims like these, how couldn’t I want this item in my makeup bag? I have also heard the product, when applied, has a natural, yet glowy appearance. Though I have depended on NARS for my holy grail concealer, I would love to try this concealer to see if it lives up to its incredible reputation.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter

I have never been the biggest fan of foundation, as I believe that no matter how hard I try, it leads to appearing cakey and thick on my skin. At most, I tend to use concealer to hide my blemishes and brighten my under eyes. However, I am intrigued by the idea of tinted moisturizer. Moisturizers tend to be lightweight, and so a tinted moisturizer is likely thinner and less heavy than a standard foundation. The Hollywood Flawless Filter by Charlotte Tilbury is meant to be used as either a primer to foundation, or as a tinted moisturizer applied on its own. It is said to achieve a beautiful glow with a more mature subtlety than many highlighters on the market. This item is also claimed to have pearlescence, allowing for the perfect sheen. This product is always sold out, so I have been unable to get my hands on it just yet. I will be waiting for the restock, Mrs. Tilbury!

Dior Lip Glow Oil

I can confidently say the only reason I do not already possess this lip product is due to its prohibitive cost. However, this product seems to be everything I could possibly want in a lip oil. I have used the lip oils produced by Ariana Grande’s brand, Rem Beauty, but found them to be quick to fade away. In contrast, Dior’s Lip Glow Oil is claimed to leave one’s lips looking wet, plump, and healthy for a long while after application. Rather than a sticky formula, this item supposedly is lightweight and very thin. The color range is absolutely stunning, containing different reds, pinks, and even translucent shades. I desire a lip oil that enhances the appearance of my lips without heaviness or stickiness and believe this is just that oil.

Though I have a makeup routine I am happy and content with, I genuinely believe that changing up the products I use, and therefore the way I express myself, has the potential to be so enjoyable and fun. The products I have listed seem to be “the dream,” and until I physically purchase them, I will be left curious as to just how wonderful they each are.
