- e.l.f. Power Grip Primer ($10) vs. Milk Makeup’s Hydro Grip Primer ($36)
Believe it or not, you don’t need to spend a day’s income on a quality face makeup primer! The e.l.f. Power Grip Primer is my go-to drugstore primer, and it only retails for $10. They have two variations of the product, one containing an additional 4% of niacinamide. This primer does a fantastic job of priming my complexion, brightening my skin, and gripping onto my makeup. This primer is a dupe for Milk Makeup’s popular Hydro Grip Primer, which is $26 more than the e.l.f. Power Grip Primer. Save yourself the money!
- L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara ($6-$9) vs. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara ($28)
From the beautiful pink packaging, to the wand fibers, to the mascara formula, these two products are pretty much identical. That is, identical in every way other than the retail price. While the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara only comes in brown or black, Lash Paradise comes in six color combinations. Both mascaras are available in the original or waterproof formula. I have also found that the Too Faced mascara flakes off more than that of L’Oreal.
- e.l.f. Brow Lift ($6) vs. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze ($23)
e.l.f. Brow Lift is almost a perfect match for the popular Brow Freeze by Anastasia Beverly Hills. However, you save $17 when you go for this dupe! Also, even with the amazing price point, you get more produce with the dupe. The e.l.f. gel is 0.31 ounces, while the Anastasia product is slightly smaller at 0.28 ounces. Both do a great job of holding my brows in place all day and are very easy to apply.
- e.l.f Halo Glow Liquid Filter ($14) vs. Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter ($49).
Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter and e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter are nearly the same exact product. They both provide sheer coverage, a beautiful glow, and work greatly with or without foundation. It is important to note that Charlotte Tilbury does however have a greater shade range for their product. Makeup, such as concealer and bronzer, applies beautifully on top of the e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter, and so long as you use setting spray, it lasts for hours. Save yourself $35, and buy the dupe!
- NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($30) vs. L’Oreal Age Perfect Radiant Concealer ($10)
I must admit that I absolutely adore my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, as it has a creamy, lightweight formula that brightens my under eye without creasing. However, the price point is a bit expensive, and this L’Oreal Age Perfect Radiant Concealer has many of the same benefits. The L’Oreal concealer leaves the under eye with dewy, medium coverage and no fine lines. If you are finding yourself needing to buy concealer frequently, switch to a cheaper option!
- Fenty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer ($21) vs. Maybelline Lifter Gloss with Hyaluronic Acid ($11)
Both of these beautiful glosses help the lips to appear fuller and more plump, while also providing a high-shine effect. Maybelline’s gloss is enriched with hydrating hyaluronic acid and adds an explosive shimmer. Furthermore, Maybelline has a more expansive shade range than Fenty beauty, so you can choose from many more options when selecting your perfect gloss.
- e.l.f. Hydrating Core Lip Shine “Ecstatic” ($7) vs. CLINIQUE Almost Lipstick “Black Honey” ($23)
After becoming very trendy on social media platforms such as TikTok, CLINIQUE’s Black Honey Lipstick has been sold out everywhere. Luckily, e.l.f. also sells a beautiful lipstick with a very similar berry tint. While I love my CLINIQUE Almost Lipstick with all that I am, I find the e.l.f. lipstick to be more hydrating, as it is infused with vitamin E.
- L’Oreal Lumi Glotion ($12) vs. Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Bronzing Drops ($51)
I could never justify spending $51 on Drunk Elephant’s tiny bottle of bronzing drops. Luckily, I found a beautiful alternative, and you can find it at the drugstore! Drunk Elephant’s bronzing serum formula gives your face a warm glow while providing many skincare benefits, but for $39 cheaper, you can achieve the same glowy, dewy complexion. If you’re after an all-over, effortless glow, try L’Oreal’s affordable dupe!
- Pixi Liquid Fairy Lights ($15) vs. Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow ($24)
I have both of these products, and both really do serve me the same benefits. I find myself going back and forth between the two every weekend, as they add the perfect amount of sparkle for a fun night out. Both are very easy to use, however, Stila’s eyeshadow does have a more reflective effect. If you’re looking to save an extra couple of bucks, check out Pixi’s dupe!
