Exam time during the fall semester can be stressful for most students – therefore, finding ways to relax is imperative. Here are some of my favorite ways to destress during exams:

Going for walks

Walking while listening to music or to your ranting sister can help get your mind off stressful tests, get some fresh air, and stay grounded.

Baking

Baking can help relieve stress by focusing your brain on ingredients and not essays. Plus, why not treat yourself to some dessert after studying so hard!

Dance

While it sounds silly, blasting your favorite songs and coming up with a dance routine is a great way to distract your brain and laugh out the stress.

Game Show

A fun thing that will help switch up the average studying process is to turn it into a game. Have your friend ask you questions and every time you get one right, they give you a “prize”!

Study Groups

One of the best tools for studying is collaborating with friends and study together. Study groups do not only help you get different perspectives on the topic at hand, but they also bring a sense of relief as you are not alone in the endeavor!
