For this week’s (fitness!) style blog I interviewed my lovely friend and dedicated bodysoc buddy Helena Gerrelli. This is what she had to say about her work out style, the best places to shop for exercise outfits, and what she would never, ever wear to bodysoc classes!
Me: What would you never wear to exercise?Helena: The toe trainers! Trainers which separate your toes are a definite no for me. They mimic being barefoot, but no matter how good they are for working out in, I would never be seen in them!Me: Where did you buy the work out outfit you’re wearing today?Helena: My leggings are from Sports Direct. My trainers are from Nike and my sweatshirt is from H&M. H&M do a great range of sportswear. And, although you can’t see it in the photo my top is from New Look, a shop which also has a good range of workout clothes. The necklace I’m wearing is from Topshop.Me: What are your favourite sport brands?Helena: If it’s an investment, like trainers, I really like Nike for good quality sports-wear. But there are great basics at more student-friendly prices from New Look and H&M in a variety of sizes.
