How did you get into Rugby?
My dad always encouraged me. He got me playing when I was about four or five. He used to play for Scotland so I have always been around Rugby.

Tell us about your role coaching EURFC Freshers…
It’s been a lot of work but really good. I’ve enjoyed being a bridge between Freshers and the rest of the club. It’s been great seeing the fresh more comfortable interacting with older members of the club.

We have already seen you on TV playing for the Exeter Chiefs, where do you see your rugby career going?
I would love to get a contract with the Chiefs after Uni. Playing professional Rugby is the goal. Any team but the Tigers, my dad would kill me!

Your TV debut must be helping you with the girls in Timepiece, what do you look for in a girl?
(Jamie goes very red) Well I haven’t been out for two weeks because of training and matches. The most important thing probably has to be no awkward silences, I can’t stand them! A girl also would have to find my gags funny. Looks wise I would say that I go for blondes, although both my exes have been brunette so who knows!

Lastly, of your St Jimmie’s housemates who do you think is the best looking?
None of them! They all live like pigs, I’m the only one who keeps the sanity. Although Connor definitely backs himself.Â
