Want to buy your curly haired friend something for Christmas? Most curly girls spend way too much money on their hair and would love to be gifted something thoughtfully curly hair related…These gifts cater for all budgets; for almost all of these items you can get them cheaply or for a higher price, depending on where you look and what you are after!Â
A Silk Pillowcase
Silk or satin (depending on your budget) pillowcases are perfect for protecting curly hair over night and stopping knotting and damage – they also make a very luxurious gift! This is something your curly haired gift receiver might not buy for themselves or think to ask for, but I promise they will love it and get great use out of it!
Boucleme Products
I haven’t met a curly girl who doesn’t love these products, but they are on the expensive side so would make a great gift. I personally love the curl defining gel (it’s on my Christmas list this year) but there is a section on the website to help you choose which product would be best for the person you are buying for – or you could splash out on one of their sets!
Invisibobbles
These are the best bobbles for curly hair – they don’t snag or knot and sit comfortably all day. They are always going to be used by your curly-haired friends! The branded bobbles and scrunchies are quite expensive but boots do their own brand version; both of these would also be a great stocking filler.
Microfibre towel
Microfibre hair towels are key to lots of curlies routines. While the person you are buying for may already have one, these really are so useful, and another is always appreciated! They can be more expensive than something someone would buy for themselves, so make a great Secret Santa gift, or bought cheaply they can be a fab stocking filler. I love this purple one from Noughty (a great brand to look at for other gifts as well!) but they are available as cheaply as ÂŁ5.30 at Boots.Â
In shower speaker
This one is less directly hair related, but as your curly haired friend probably spends so much time in the shower detangling their hair, this would be a great gift idea and is a little more outside the box! There are lots of different speakers available depending on your budget – they range from £5 to a lot more and come with all sorts of different features – suction cups, cute designs, high quality sound – just choose what you think your friend would like the most.
Towelling dressing gown
A towelling dressing gown was one of my favourite presents I received last Christmas and I recently gave my curly haired friend a monogrammed one for her birthday! Using a towelling dressing gown feels like you are at a spa (even if you are only in a student house!) and they are really useful for wearing while styling hair just out of the shower. I have a white one from M&S but depending on your budget they come at all prices and in all colours and patterns; you can get them as cheaply as ÂŁ13 online or you could splash out for one from John Lewis at ÂŁ65.Â
