The 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is already underway! The VS Fashion Show is back, and information on this year’s catwalk has been released. Here is everything we know so far about the 2018 VS Fashion Show!
1. The show will be in NYC
After spending the last two years abroad – Paris, France in 2016 and Shanghai, China in 2017 – the show will finally be back in the U.S. this year.
2. Our fave Angels are back
Some of the iconic Angels who will be featured in this year’s show include Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Stella Maxwell, Cindy Bruna, Georgia Fowler, Leomie Anderson, Ming Xi, Devon Windsor, and Grace Elizabeth!
3. New faces will be introduced
Winnie Harlow announced on Instagram that she will be walking in the VSFS for the first time! She wrote in her caption, “I had a break down before I walked into the most nerve-wracking casting of my life.” She continued saying that the offices “already felt like home,” as she saw old friends and made new friends during her casting experience.
Also, Kelsey Merritt will walk in the 2018 show and will be the first Filipino model to ever walk for Victoria’s Secret. Additional new models who will walk in the show include Duckie Thot, Yasmin Wijnaldum, Sadie Newman, Willow Hand, Lorena Rae, and Mélie Tiaco.
4. Alessandra Ambrosio will not walk in the show
Last year Alessandra Ambrosio announced that she is retiring and will not be returning to the catwalk after walking in the show for the past 17 years.
5. Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner’s castings are unknown
It is uncertain if Bella Hadid will model in the show this year, despite walking last year. She has not posted anything on social media about the 2018 VS Fashion Show and the brand has not commented either. Her sister, Gigi Hadid, has also not been mentioned in the brand’s lineup and has not commented on the 2018 show. While Kendall Jenner made her debut for VS in 2016, she did not walk in the 2017 show because of contractual obligations with another lingerie brand, La Perla.
6. The Venue and Performers are Unknown
While we don’t know where the show will be in NYC or who will be performing, we know that the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be an event that no one will want to miss out on!
