We are still swooning over our first encounter with Peter Kavinsky and honestly, we can’t get enough of his charming personality. If you’re missing seeing Peter and Lara Jean on your screens, we have good news for you! Netflix is making the sequel following To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before! Fans of the book by Jenny Han already knew there was potentially going to be a sequel since the source material is actually a trilogy. The second book is adorably titled P.S. I Still Love You! As the film prepares to go into production, the big question will be whether or not Netflix and Paramount will continue to stay true to the books or stray away from them.
For those who have not seen or read To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, you’re honestly missing out. The main character, Lara Jean, has written and addressed letters to all of her previous and current crushes. She has kept those letters hidden, until she finds out all of the boys she wrote to have actually received her letters. As you can imagine, the drama only gets better.
We are so excited that Lana Condor (Lara Jean) and Noah Centineo (Peter Kavinsky) will be gracing us with their presence again. Can you imagine anyone else playing these characters? Because we can’t!
Multiple sources have reported that this film will be “sexier” than the last one according to the Viacom CEO, Bob Bakish. We are definitely curious to see what he means by that. Are we going to lose Lara Jean’s wholesome view of romance? Either way, we’ll be tuning in to see how Lara Jean’s story continues.
We don’t know the exact release date yet, so you can find us binge watching To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before on repeat.
