Happy hour in the Happiest Place on Earth? Yes, please!
It’s official: Disneyland is no longer just for kids. Now, after spending a hot day waiting in hour-long lines, you can sit back and relax in a brand new 7,300 square-foot brewery (if you’re 21 and over, of course).
Disney recently announced that it has teamed up with Ballast Point Brewery to open the first on-site brewery in Disneyland. The brewery, set to open in Downtown Disney, will include a tasting room, restaurant, and outdoor beer garden. The Disneyland brewery will not only feature Ballast classics, but will also offer exclusive and limited-edition Disney themed drafts. It will also feature a menu of Southern Californian food with an emphasis on fresh and local ingredients.
Disneyland will be Ballast’s seventh location in California, and its first location in Orange County. Headquartered in San Diego, Ballast opened in 1996 and has been thriving ever since. It has greatly expanded over the past five years and is looking forward to continuing this expansion in its partnership with Disney. This is a great opportunity, not only for Ballast Point Brewery, but also for Disney to expand their reach to an older, more nostalgic generation. Keep your eye out for this incredible addition, which should be here by the end of the year!
