At the age of six, your mom probably picked out your clothes for school as you were watching television and eating cereal in the morning. Consider Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, who already has her own personal stylist to guide her through the ins-and-outs of first grade fashion trends. Manuel A. Mendez is an employee at Parkwood Entertainment, a company founded by Beyoncé, who has been behind some of Blue Ivy’s most recent looks. Most notably, Mendez is known for dressing Blue Ivy in the gold gown and headpiece she wore to the Wearable Art Gala to represent the Black Panther theme, where she attempted to bid $19,000 on a piece… as most six year olds do. Mendez also styled Blue Ivy’s look for her appearance in Jay-Z’s “Family Feud” music video, where she wore a custom Billie Blush collar and Raimana Cowan dress. It’s safe to say that Blue Ivy is cooler than we were at six years old!
