As much as we may say we’ll be studying nonstop this finals season, we all know breaks are completely necessary. Taking some short breaks in between chapters can help you lose the urge to distract yourself with social media and keep you more focused on getting your work done! Thankfully, there are many opportunities to take your mind off stress on campus. Here are a few opportunities to ~de-stress~ this finals season at Fairfield.
The Other Fairfield Beach
From 10am to 6pm on Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday in the Library Auditorium (Room 101), relax and meditate to the sounds of calming ocean waves. Leave your cellphones and laptops behind because this is a no technology room.
Button Making
Make buttons from 2-4pm in the library lobby on Friday. Choose an image from a magazine and put it through the button maker to make your very own button!
Men’s Basketball Game
Take your mind off the classroom and onto the court for this Sunday’s men’s basketball game. Come out and see your Stags compete against Old Dominion in Alumni Hall at 1pm.
Counseling and Psychological Services Walk-In Hours
Stop in to the counseling and psychological services in Dolan Hall from 9am to 4pm any day until the last day finals. No appointment necessary.
Cartoons and Coffee
Saturday morning, 10am-12pm, stop by the library auditorium for a quick study break with cartoons as well as free coffee and donuts.
Good luck on finals, Stags!
