Festive Stocking Stuffer Ideas for this Christmas Season

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

Believe it or not, the Christmas season is already upon us and I couldn’t be more excited! In preparation for the big day, I’m sure you are already rushing around to find the perfect gifts for the ones you care about. Some of you may even be stuffing some stockings this year. For the past three Christmases, I have been in charge of stuffing my mom’s stocking and spend a lot of time finding fun things that I know she will love. To make it easier for all of you who are in charge of stuffing stockings this year, here is a list of some creative and fun stocking stuffer ideas:

Candy

For that sweet tooth, make sure to include some candy in the stocking. Christmas chocolates, candy canes, or even their favorite kind of candy is a tasty touch to any stocking!

Gift Cards

Who doesn’t love getting a gift card to their favorite store? Find out where your friends and family love to shop and get them a festive gift card to use there. Whether it be to their favorite store, coffee shop, or restaurant, they will appreciate not having to worry about that expense, thanks to you!

Jewelry

Some cute studs, a few sparkly bangles, or a beautiful statement necklace will make for the perfect stocking stuffer. Pick out something pretty that you know they are going to rock.

Accessories

Accessories are a necessity in the winter. Stuff their stocking with some cozy winter apparel to keep them warm during the cold holiday season. A cute hat, some mittens, and a cozy scarf can be the finishing touch to any outfit, so make sure to pick out pieces that will make them look fabulous while staying warm!

Technology

In this day and age, technology is a big part of our lives so including some technology in your person’s stocking is sure to be a hit. Get them some new earbuds, an extra-long phone charger cord, or a portable battery for when they are on the go!

Jokes and Pranks

It’s always fun to joke around during the holidays and give the people you care about a good laugh, so why not incorporate some funny gifts into their stocking? Get them something that reminds the both of you of an inside joke you have, or get them something so impractical that it’s funny.

Personalized Items

A personal gift will be a nice touch to their stocking. Adding anything from a monogrammed cup to a cute personalized notepad and pen will make the stocking that much more special. Everyone looks forward to using things that are personalized to them, so this makes for the perfect stocking stuffer.

Merry Christmas and Happy Shopping!
