There is nothing more comforting than a friendly face and a fresh cooked meal, which unfortunately can be hard to find while away at school; at least it was hard to find until Pronto Chop Shop came along.
Finally, we’re able to get a perfectly fresh salad and a unique pizza that doesn’t have you feeling too guilty afterwards. Pronto owners Glenn and Dave Grella told Her Campus Fairfield their goal is to be “fun, fresh, friendly, [and] flavorful,” which they have certainly achieved.
You can find me at Pronto during dinner hours at least three nights a week because their quality food and personal service is incomparable. It gets better with the student “happy hour,” discount that takes 20% off your order after 6 PM; making Pronto a no-brainer for your taste buds and your wallet.
On account of almost every collegiette, we all have a serious love-hate relationship with pizza. However, Pronto Pizza leaves more room for love than hate. If you’re craving pizza but want to get your veggie fix too, than give your stomach what it deserves: the Veggie White Pizza. If you want buffalo chicken but don’t want that bloated greasy feeling afterwards, than look no further: Pronto’s Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Two other recommendations are definitely the OMG Potato Pizza and, of course, the ProntoLoco Pizza. Not only is every pizza at Pronto perfectly cooked, but is also beautifully presented.
The second battle for most collegiettes is finding a fun and fresh salad that doesn’t make you totally hate eating greens. The Pronto menu is catered to us, because you will never have a boring salad again! If you’re into a lighter dressing, then go for the It’s All Greek Salad. If you’re into Mexican food, then you have to try the Southwestern Salad. And of course, they have the make-your-own option so you can be your own chef as well! The salads at Pronto are so fresh that once you eat there it’s going to be tough to go anywhere else.
Thank you, Pronto, for being a delicious, friendly environment for us collegiettes to escape to and indulge in. Â
