HC: Where are you originally from?Â
AS: I’m from Cardiff in Wales.
HC: How is Cardiff different from Falmouth?Â
AS: Well, Cardiff is a big city and Falmouth is a really small town.
HC: If you could go to lunch with any three authors (dead or alive), who would they be?Â
AS: First, J.K. Rowling because she favourited my tweet so we’re basically best friends. Secondly, Jane Austen because Pride and Prejudice is one my favourite novels. Lastly, I would go to lunch with F. Scott Fitzgerald because The Great Gatsby was my favourite novel to study in school.
HC: Why Falmouth University and not Cardiff University?Â
AS: I wanted a change of scenery and I didn’t want to be so close to home—not that I don’t like it! I just really wanted something different.
HC: What is your favourite song at the moment?Â
AS: My favourite song is called ‘Face Like Thunder’ by the artist Japanese House.
HC: Why did you choose this course?
AS: Well, English is one of the only things I was interested in doing, second being history.
HC: What’s your favourite meal to cook at home?Â
AS: I really like cooking fajitas and vegetarian food.
HC: Where’s your #1 favourite place to eat in Falmouth?

HC: What do you miss about Wales?
AS: I really miss the Welsh accent.
HC: Do you look forward to third year?Â
AS: Yeah. I look really forward to graduating!
HC:Â Do you have any advice for the Freshers?
