Let’s face it, sometimes your family is the hardest to buy gifts for during the holidays. Especially for your dad or brother who are almost impossible to think of gift ideas for. Below are a few ideas for each member of your family; including the picky ones!
Mom:
1. Weighted blanket
Weighted blankets have been proven to help with a bunch of sleeping problems and they help ease stress and anxiety. My mom and I share one and we both love it!
2. Jewelry
Let’s be honest, you can never go wrong with some jewelry. Help your mom accessorize with some earrings or a new set of bracelets.
3. Bath bombs
We all love taking baths, but never seem to give ourselves the time. Give your mom the perfect excuse to relax and unwind for a bit with a set of bath bombs.
4. Spa gift card
We all know that being a mom can be very stressful, especially around the holidays. Treat your mom to a well-deserved spa day with a gift card to a local spa.
Dad:
1. Fitbit
For the active dads out there, a Fitbit will help him track his exercise, health goals, and count his steps, along with monitoring his heartbeat and sleep. It can also send reminders throughout the day to keep moving and to walk around.
2. Hammock
If your dad is a fan of the outdoors, he’ll love a hammock to lay out on come spring and summer.
3. Speakers
A nice set of speakers is the perfect gift for those dads who love listening to music. Many speakers, like JBL and Sonos, allow you to connect multiple speakers in different rooms.
4. Cologne
Treat your dad to a new scent for the holidays, or give him a refill of one he already owns and likes.
Brother
1. GoPro
If your brother likes surfing, hiking, skiing, or any other outdoor activity, a GoPro will give him the perfect way to document his adventures.
2. Strip LED lights
Help your brother add some light and color to his room with color changing LED lights. You can buy strips of LED lights to put around the outline his bedroom ceiling. This will look really cool when he changes the colors of the LED lights!
3. Shoes
Whether it’s a new pair of sneakers, boots, Converse, Vans, or slippers, your brother is bound to have some kind of shoe he’s been wanting to add to his collection.
4. Gift cards
This may not be the most personal gift, but if you really don’t know what to get your brother give him a gift card to his favorite store so he can pick out what he wants. Some ideas include: GameStop, Nike, Vans, American Eagle, or even places he likes to eat such as Chick-Fil-A or Subway.
Sister:
1. Skincare products
Skincare products are one of the easiest presents. If you don’t know what kind of skin care your sister needs, you can’t go wrong with some sheet masks or serums.
2. Hydroflask
Even if you sister isn’t a “VSCO girl”, a Hydroflask makes a great gift for anyone and is a very practical gift. Not to mention, they come in lots of pretty colors!
3. Crossbody bag
Treat your sister to a new crossbody bag that she can use every day. Crossbodies are great for those who need a bag they can take everywhere with them because they don’t require you to carry it in your arms.
4. Coloring books
Coloring books are a fun way to de-stress and reconnect with your inner child and are great gift if your sister is artistic and likes coloring. Maybe throw in some colored pencils or pens if you’re feeling extra generous.
