5 Must-Have Beauty and Wellness Products for Every Collegiette
Â
Ah, a new year. What does that mean? A chance to reinvent ourselves! Sure, a “new you” sounds fun and all, but who actually has the time to search up new beauty and health trends with your crazy college schedule? Well, lucky for you, I DO. I’m here to be your guide in all things beauty, health and wellness – in other words, a fairy GLAM mother. Instead of spending countless hours on apps and/or stalking your favorite beauty and health guru on Instagram, you can make a quick reference to this article for my tips to surviving spring semester!
To get started, here are my top fives must-haves for this semester:
1. Trendy Water Bottle.
(Because just when we thought water bottles from the grocery store were good enough, they’re not.) Considering women need about 8-10 glasses of water per day, a refillable-plastic bottle with a catchy saying is not only an excuse to keep up with a cute and healthy trend, but also helps the environment by producing less waste and keeping you hydrated all day long.
2. Tinted Moisturizer
(Preferably with SPF). For those who don’t like wearing too much makeup or would rather hit the snooze button than wake up earlier to apply it, a tinted moisturizer will give your skin that “glow from within” look. If your moisturizer has SPF protection, you kill two birds with one stone and protect your skin from getting premature wrinkles as well as sun spots.
3. An Agenda.
Having an agenda may not be a new trend, but it will definitely help you reorganize your life and avoid stress. Starting a new semester is definitely stress worthy, but having an agenda that reminds you of all the things you have to do will offer you some peace of mind.
4. A kick-butt Concealer.
This little light colored stick, paint pot, or whatever type you decide to use, will transform your “I’m exhausted from writing a term paper and not sleeping for three days straight” under eye area to, “I’m awake, well rested and ready to take on whatever college throws at me.”
5. A Snack.
And no I don’t mean the Fiber One bar that your mom bought you which is full of chemicals. I do mean an actual healthy snack that will give you the nutrients and energy you need, while also satisfying your taste buds. Think dried fruit and roasted almonds. The dried fruit is sweet enough for you to not realize you’re being “healthy” while giving you energy to use throughout the day; the almonds make for a perfect sweet-and-salty combo by fueling your body with healthy fats and loads of protein.

Now that you’ve read my idea of the most essential health and beauty products for the new year and semester, I hope you will take advantage of these tips and have a semester just as kick-butt as your concealer!
