Finch
The Finch app is a free self-care app where as you grow and care for your Finch pet, you also grow to take care of yourself. This app helped me tremendously when it came to journaling my thoughts, self-reflections, affirmations, exercises, and keeping up with my day-to-day goals.
Yuka
The Yuka app is a free food and personal care products app. With the scan of your item’s barcode, the app assesses its impact on your health with a 0/100 rating scale and lists the ingredients of your products to give you descriptions of what’s harmful or not and why. One of my favorite features in the app is at the bottom of your food or care products information, they recommend healthier food and product alternatives so you do not have to do the research yourself. This app was a great help when it came to staying aware of my food consumption choices and cosmetic products that were harmful to my body. Plus it’s reliable in that the app is 100% independent and in no way biased or influenced by brands looking to advertise or influence the evaluation of their products.
Mindbody
The MindBody app is a free app that helps you explore fitness, beauty, and wellness-related businesses or activities in your area. You can book services and classes easily and keep updated on ratings, price drops, schedules, and deals. I downloaded this app during my search for Pole Dancing classes to take in my area, and with the encouragement and partnership of my best friend, we found a class to take with little hassle.
